VAEDT Requests for Input from Interested Parties
The Virginia Electronic Data Transfer Working Group (VAEDT) is developing EDI Standards to be used by all utilities and competitive service providers and from time to time will seek further participation and assistance by interested parties. The VAEDT began its work by using the PA Standards as its template and is modifying those standards to adapt them to the business rules evolving in Virginia. The VA State Corporation Commission encourages interested parties to actively participate with the VAEDT to establish such standards as may be appropriate for Virginia. Understanding that the resource commitment to such an endeavor may be prohibitive, the VAEDT urges potential participants to monitor and review its web-site and communications on the list server and advance any comments and/or concerns to the VAEDT.
Your input to the questions posed in the documents below will assist the working group in establishing the Virginia standards.
Your responses may be sent to David R. Eichenlaub, Virginia State Corporation Commission.
